The Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) has completed an e-auction on August 14, 2025, for the production and supply of green ammonia in India. The auction was conducted under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2A-Tranche-I) and was linked to a project for Coromandel International Limited in Kakinada, with a fixed supply quantity of 85,000 metric tons. The official Request for Selection number for this project was SECI/C&P/MI/00/0002/2024-25.
The auction was carried out on the ‘e-SecureAuction’ platform and was designed for a single entity with a fixed quantity.
