Jyoti Structures Successfully Energizes Two Key Sections Of 400 kV Pirana–Ahmedabad Transmission Network, Marking Major Project Milestone

Jyoti Structures Limited (JSL), a listed Engineering, Procurement and Construction company focused on power transmission infrastructure, has announced the successful charging of key sections of the 400 kV multi-circuit transmission network between Pirana and Ahmedabad. This marks a major milestone in the execution of the project and moves the development significantly closer to full completion.

The first section, connecting Torrent Power Grid Limited (TPL) in Pirana to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) in Ahmedabad through CKT-1, was successfully charged at 17:15:45 on February 19, 2026. Later the same evening, at 19:20, the second line linking PGCIL Pirana to PGCIL Ahmedabad was energized. Both events required precise planning, detailed technical coordination, and robust on-site execution to ensure a smooth and safe commissioning process.

The successful energization follows several operational and technical challenges that were efficiently managed by JSL’s project team. Their work ensured a reliable commissioning procedure, reflecting the company’s strong engineering capabilities and commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.

Commenting on the achievement, Rajesh Kumar Singh, CEO of Jyoti Structures Limited, said that energizing these sections represents a major step forward for the entire transmission corridor. He emphasized that the progress highlights JSL’s dedication to timely project delivery and acknowledged the support and close coordination from all involved stakeholders. He also expressed gratitude to Torrent Power Grid Ltd. for their trust, guidance, and cooperation throughout the project.

With this advancement, Jyoti Structures Limited continues to strengthen its role in developing India’s power transmission network and supporting the reliable delivery of electricity infrastructure across the country.
