King Salman Energy City (KSBC) has announced the groundbreaking of a 180,000-square-metre facility by National Energy Services Reunited (NESR) within the King Salman Energy Park (Spark), marking a significant step toward advancing Saudi Arabia’s energy localisation and innovation goals.

According to a KSBC , the project underscores NESR’s commitment to supporting the localisation of the Kingdom’s energy sector, while driving innovation and sustainability in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

The facility is set to play a key role in strengthening local capabilities and fostering industrial development in the energy services sector, aligning with broader national objectives of economic diversification and technological advancement.

Established in 2017, NESR is one of the largest national oilfield services companies operating across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific regions. It holds the distinction of being the first national energy company from the MENA region to be listed on the Nasdaq.

The development at Spark represents a strategic move in building advanced infrastructure to support energy transformation, creating opportunities for job growth, knowledge transfer, and greater private sector participation in Saudi Arabia’s evolving energy ecosystem.
