Netherlands-based bioLNG company Nordsol will provide biogas upgrading and liquefaction equipment for the Lista Biogass plant in Farsund, southern Norway.
The plant, owned and operated by clean energy developer Vireo, will produce around 90 GWh of fossil-free bioLNG per year for the transport and industrial sectors. It will use around 160,000 cubic metres of feedstock, including manure, fish waste, and food fats.
All bioLNG from the facility will be supplied to Nordic energy company Gasum under a long-term offtake agreement.
It is the second time Nordsol has been selected by Vireo for its liquefaction technology. In October 2025, the Dutch firm provided its technology for a in Hardanger.
