NTPC Green Energy Limited has invited online bids for the deployment of a Qualified Coordinating Agency (QCA) for Forecasting & Scheduling and Aggregation Services at its 296 MW solar power plant located in Fatehgarh. The bidding process will be carried out through a single-stage composite bidding system. Interested and eligible bidders are invited to participate and submit their proposals following the terms mentioned in the bidding document.

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider that can efficiently carry out the responsibilities of a QCA, which includes accurate forecasting and scheduling of solar power generation, as well as aggregation of data as per applicable regulations and grid requirements. The bidding document outlines the complete scope of work, technical specifications, terms and conditions, and eligibility criteria for participation.

The bid submission deadline and bid opening date are 07th August 2025.

According to the bid notification, there is no tender fee applicable for this tender. Additionally, the bid security or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) requirement has also been waived, which makes it financially easier for potential bidders to participate. There is no pre-bid conference scheduled, and reverse auction is not applicable for this tender.

It has also been specified that no queries will be entertained beyond the last date for query submission mentioned on the e-tender portal. Any corrigendum or updates related to the tender will be available only on the official NTPC e-tender portal, and bidders are advised to regularly check the website for the latest information.

An important point highlighted in the bid document is that any bidder from a country sharing a land border with India must be registered with the competent authority, as per government norms. However, this clause does not apply to bidders from countries where the Government of India is undertaking development projects or has extended lines of credit.

NTPC Green Energy Limited has also made it clear that the issuance of bid documents does not imply that a bidder is automatically considered qualified. Bids will be submitted and opened online, and the representatives of the bidding companies are welcome to attend the bid opening if they choose to do so.

The bid document consists of multiple sections, including the Invitation for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, General and Special Conditions of Contract, Technical Specifications, Schedule of Quantities, and various forms and procedures. Bidders are required to read the complete.
