Poland banks PKO Bank Polski and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego have signed the first syndicated deal in the country’s biogas and biomethane sector.
The PLN74m ($20m) deal will go towards Neo Biofuel Energy’s purchase and development of agricultural biogas plant installations.
Investment will be funnelled into three biogas plants in Lublin and Silesian Voivodeships, with a total capacity of 3.2MW.
The value of the syndicated loan may increase to PLN217m ($59.5m).
