US-based MSA Safety will this week showcase its multi-gas detector technology at the A+A International Trade Fair & Congress in Düsseldorf, Germany. It will be the first time the six-gas detector is made available to European customers.
The Altair io 6 Multigas Detector is suited for monitoring in confined spaces and sampling applications. The handheld, cellular-connected device also features an integrated pump.
It is part of the company’s MSA Connected Work Platform, which uses cloud-based software to connect workers and worksites.
The system enables the user to access real-time data and visibility into worker locations, device status, and potential gas exposure.
