Philippines-based industrial gas company Pryce will build three new air separation units in the cities of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Each facility will form part of the company’s wider expansion programme to strengthen domestic production capacity.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the company stated that each of the three units – to be built separately in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao – will produce oxygen, nitrogen, and argon at a cost of around $34.4 million apiece.
“This expansion directly supports PPC’s goal of becoming the largest industrial gas company in the Philippines, a milestone the company aims to achieve within … a three-year timeframe,” it stated.
The company did not reveal the quantity of gases to be produced by the plants which are scheduled for completion within three years.
