Saatvik Green Energy Limited, one of India’s fastest-growing renewable energy companies, has secured an additional order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) for the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across various farmer locations in Maharashtra. This new allocation falls under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM-B scheme, a key national initiative aimed at promoting clean, reliable irrigation solutions for farmers.
The latest order includes the supply of 1,000 solar water pumps in 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities, with an estimated value of ₹16.74 crore (exclusive of GST). With this addition, Saatvik’s total order volume from MSEDCL now rises to 1,815 solar water pumps, representing a cumulative value of approximately ₹30.24 crore (exclusive of GST). This expansion highlights the company’s increasing role in supporting Maharashtra’s transition to sustainable, solar-powered agricultural solutions.
As part of the contract, Saatvik Green Energy Limited will not only supply and install the systems but also provide a comprehensive system warranty, repair and maintenance services, and a remote monitoring system for a period of five years. This ensures long-term reliability and helps farmers benefit from consistent, low-maintenance solar irrigation. The installation and commissioning of the systems will be completed within 60 days from the date the respective circle office issues the Notice to Proceed (NTP) or work order.
Speaking about the development, Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said: “The receipt of this additional order from MSEDCL reinforces the growing momentum in our solar pump business and reflects continued confidence in Saatvik’s execution capabilities. Solar water pumps play a critical role in enabling sustainable irrigation, reducing dependence on diesel and grid power, and improving energy access for farmers. Through our participation in PM-KUSUM, we remain committed to supporting India’s agricultural and rural energy transition with reliable, domestically manufactured solutions.”
This latest order further strengthens Saatvik’s presence in the decentralized solar and agricultural energy sector—an area that aligns closely with national goals surrounding energy security, sustainable farming, and rural electrification. With a growing portfolio that includes solar modules, solar inverters, EPE film manufacturing, EPC solutions, and solar pumps, Saatvik Green Energy Limited continues to build its position as a trusted, integrated clean-energy partner contributing actively to India’s renewable energy ambitions.
