Schenk UK launches nationwide gas transport operations under Air Liquide contract

Tank transport company Schenk UK has started a new logistics operation under a long-term gas contract with Air Liquide, marking the start of a long-term partnership in the UK market.

The agreement sees Schenk oversee the delivery of bulk industrial gases using a dedicated fleet of specialised vehicles.

The contract covers the full scope of logistics services, including fleet management, driver operations, and performance oversight. A team of drivers and logistics specialists will operate a new fleet of gas trailers from Schenk’s Widnes base in Cheshire.

Roger Parr, Head of Gases at Schenk UK, said the new operation “showcases the value we bring through our operational know-how, engineering strength, and customer-focused approach”.
