Shweta Solar Drives India’s Solar Self-Reliance With New 1.2 GW Module Manufacturing Plant And Advanced Technology

Shweta Solar Pvt. Ltd (Shweta Solar), a rapidly growing player in India’s renewable energy sector, is on a mission to establish a strong domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem. With a focus on high-efficiency solar panels, advanced technology integration, and research-driven innovation, the company is positioning itself as a reliable partner in India’s transition to clean energy.

Shweta Solar recognizes India’s potential to evolve from a module assembly market to a full-fledged solar production hub. The company believes that with the country’s scale, skilled workforce, and supportive policy environment, India can significantly expand capacities in polysilicon, ingots, wafers, and solar cells over the next five years, ultimately emerging as a competitive solar manufacturing nation globally.

Sanjay Garg, Director of Shweta Solar, emphasized, “At Shweta Solar, we believe that reducing import dependence, developing indigenous technology, and investing in research and development are critical for India’s energy security. Achieving self-reliance in solar manufacturing goes beyond assembling modules; it requires building a strong ecosystem across the entire value chain—from cells and wafers to modules and balance-of-system components.”

The company offers a comprehensive range of high-efficiency solar panels suitable for residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. Shweta Solar’s operations are guided by a quality-first approach, from production to project execution. Innovation plays a central role in the company’s strategy, with ongoing research and development initiatives supported by AI-powered monitoring systems to enhance efficiency and energy output.

To meet the growing domestic demand for solar panels, Shweta Solar is preparing to launch a new solar module manufacturing facility in the National Capital Region (NCR) with a capacity of 1.2 GW. Once operational, the plant will significantly boost India’s solar production capabilities and strengthen Shweta Solar’s contribution to the country’s renewable energy goals. By expanding production and driving technological advancement, Shweta Solar aims to support India’s shift toward cleaner, more reliable, and locally manufactured solar energy solutions.
