SOL Group subsidiary buys VitalAire Schweiz from Air Liquide

Airsol, a subsidiary of Italian multinational corporation SOL Group, has fully acquired Swiss firm VitalAire Schweiz from industrial gas major Air Liquide for an undisclosed fee.

VitalAire is a major name in the home respiratory care sector, focusing on the treatment and care of obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome, mechanical ventilation, and home oxygen therapy.

Aldo Fumagalli Romario, President and CEO of the SOL Group, said the purchase by Airsol reflects a groupwide commitment to pursuing a “strategic expansion path” in Switzerland.
