Solar & Storage Ethiopia 2026 reached a defining high point with the Solar & Storage Ethiopia Awards 2026, an evening that brought together the most respected names across Ethiopia’s solar and clean energy ecosystem to recognise excellence actively shaping the nation’s renewable trajectory. Held on February 27 at Sapphire Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa, the ceremony celebrated organisations, projects, institutions and leaders whose work is strengthening technical capability, market confidence and long term sector growth.

As Ethiopia’s solar and storage market advances in scale and structural maturity, the awards spotlighted those delivering measurable impact across EPC execution, technology innovation, consultancy leadership, strategic optimisation and inclusive energy development. Each recognition reflected not just achievement, but accountability. Not just ambition, but execution aligned with national electrification priorities and sustainable growth objectives.

The awards were presented by Mr. Desalegn Getaneh Woldemariam, Managing Director, Humanitarian Energy, who was invited to the stage to confer the honours.
