At the SolarPlaza Asset Management North America (AMNA) 2025 conference held in San Diego, SOLV Energy announced that it has been selected to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for nearly 4.8 gigawatts (GW) of solar projects since the 2024 edition of the event. The projects now under SOLV Energy’s care include assets owned by existing clients such as Intersect Power and SB Energy, as well as new partners including Greenalia and Matrix Renewables. This expansion brings SOLV Energy’s total O&M portfolio to more than 17 GW of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across North America.

Over the past year, the company has also broadened its aftermarket and technical service capabilities. It has signed several repair and remediation contracts for large-scale solar installations in Texas and California, responding to a growing need for specialized support in the wake of equipment failures, recalls, and weather-related damages. SOLV Energy’s service offerings cover a comprehensive range of support functions, including plant management, performance monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, and vegetation management. These services are available for both SOLV Energy-built projects and third-party-developed facilities, covering photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and substations.

To help customers maximize asset performance, SOLV Energy offers a number of value-added services. These include NETA-compliant acceptance testing and maintenance for high-voltage equipment, in-house SCADA system retrofits using standardized solutions already deployed at over 18 GW of sites, and dedicated internal teams for technical training, performance engineering, and safety management. Availability guarantees are included as standard provisions in its contracts. Additionally, SOLV Energy operates a 24/7 NERC-compliant Operations and Control Center in San Diego, from which it remotely monitors and controls over 140 sites nationwide.

George Hershman, CEO of SOLV Energy, “Our lifecycle approach gives us the capabilities, experience and operating data to help our customers design projects, select equipment, and establish integrated systems that maximize energy generation and minimize downtime. Working with SOLV, our customers have access to a robust team that not only provides industry leading O&M services, but also provides advice and options to enhance the performance of projects through continuous collaboration with our EPC, commissioning and SCADA teams.”

The company also provides emergency response services, supporting the repair or replacement of major components such as inverters, electrical balance-of-system (EBOS) equipment, and solar modules. It also offers repowering services for older assets, backed by its national construction network. Looking to strengthen its role as a long-term partner, SOLV Energy aims to deliver an integrated suite of services that support solar and storage projects throughout their operational lifecycle.

As part of the AMNA 2025 conference, SOLV Energy team members will be available to engage with industry peers on April 23 and 24. On April 24, Jaya Mallineni, Performance Engineering Manager at SOLV Energy, will participate in a panel discussion focused on identifying and resolving direct current (DC) performance issues in solar installations. Through its continued service expansion and commitment to technical excellence, SOLV Energy reinforces its leadership in the North American solar operations and maintenance sector.
