Sungrow Opens Solar & Battery Experience Hub in Australia to Promote Renewable Energy Adoption

Sungrow has inaugurated its first Solar & Battery Experience Hub in Australia, strengthening its long-term commitment to the country’s renewable energy market and creating a dedicated centre for clean energy education, technology demonstrations, and customer engagement.

Located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, the new facility serves as Sungrow’s first solar and battery experience centre in Australia. The hub showcases the company’s latest residential solar, battery storage, electric vehicle (EV) charging, and smart energy management technologies through live demonstrations and interactive displays. Powered entirely by Sungrow’s own inverter and battery storage systems, the building also demonstrates how commercial facilities can operate using renewable energy.

The opening ceremony was attended by Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli, Sungrow Australia executives, and regional solar industry representatives, highlighting collaboration between the company and local stakeholders to accelerate Australia’s clean energy transition.

Mayor Rosanna Natoli said the experience hub will serve as a public resource where residents, businesses, and students can learn about renewable energy technologies firsthand. She added that the project has already created local employment opportunities and will continue supporting long-term jobs while contributing to clean energy adoption, skills development, and sustainable infrastructure across the region.

The centre comprises three dedicated experience zones. The Sungrow Journey section highlights the company’s global innovation and more than 14 years of operations in Australia. The Live Experience Area provides demonstrations of Sungrow’s residential solar, battery storage, and EV charging solutions with real-time system monitoring, while the Smart Hub Experience showcases intelligent home energy management technologies, including battery optimisation, energy monitoring, and smart energy solutions designed to improve household energy independence.

Sungrow also announced the donation of two battery energy storage systems to local charitable organisations as part of its community engagement initiatives. The company said the hub will work closely with local solar installation partners to provide visitors with professional guidance, installation support, and customised renewable energy solutions.

Commenting on the launch, Neil Yang, Channel Sales Manager at Sungrow Australia, said the new facility represents more than a physical showroom, providing customers with an opportunity to experience clean energy technologies firsthand, receive expert guidance, and make informed energy decisions.

According to Sungrow, the Solar & Battery Experience Hub reflects its continued investment in local innovation, industry partnerships, and community engagement as Australia advances its transition toward a low-carbon energy system.
