Thailand Renewables BCPG and Ornsirin Explore Solar + Battery Storage Integration in Real Estate

BCPG Public Company Limited (BCPG), a leading renewable energy company in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Ornsirin Holding Public Company Limited (ORN), Thailand’s prominent property developer, to jointly study the feasibility of integrating solar power generation systems with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for real estate projects.

The partnership aims to boost energy efficiency, lower long-term operating costs, and drive the practical adoption of renewable energy solutions within the property sector.

Charnvit Trangadisaikul, Chief Investment Officer of BCPG, emphasized the company’s focus on innovation-driven solutions and diverse clean energy technologies. “With our regional expertise, advanced technology, and comprehensive energy management capabilities, BCPG is well-positioned to support projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce long-term costs, and contribute to a low-carbon society,” he said.

He added, “This collaboration with Ornsirin represents an important milestone in expanding clean energy management by integrating solar power with battery storage into Thailand’s real estate sector. It offers a valuable opportunity to explore investments in smart energy solutions that enhance the competitiveness of the property industry while delivering balanced economic, social, and environmental value.”

Predikorn Buranupakorn, Chief Executive Officer of Ornsirin, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. “Partnering with BCPG allows us to study the commercial and technical feasibility of deploying solar power combined with battery storage to reduce electricity costs for both residential units and common areas,” he said.

Predikorn added, “This strategic collaboration aligns with Ornsirin’s vision to develop Smart & Sustainable Communities, integrating technology and renewable energy to create efficient, environmentally friendly living, working, and learning environments, and supporting sustainable long-term growth.”
