Tamil Nadu has awarded 1,400 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity to Eagle Infra India and OPG Power Ventures. The large-scale storage allocation strengthens grid reliability, supports renewable integration, and marks a major step in the state’s strategy to enhance flexible and dispatchable clean power.


Waaree Energies has secured a 500 MW solar module supply order from a domestic independent power producer. The deal reinforces Waaree’s manufacturing strength and highlights sustained demand for high-efficiency modules as India accelerates utility-scale solar installations nationwide.
