TotalEnergies and Magnum Technology Center Collaborate to Launch Solar Power System in Dubai

TotalEnergies, in partnership with Magnum Technology Center, a subsidiary of the Worldwide Oilfield Machine (WOM) Group and a leader in energy solutions in the Gulf region, has successfully commissioned a solar power system in Dubai, demonstrating their shared dedication to renewable energy advancement.

The 400 KWp solar system, installed at Magnum Technology Center’s Jebel Ali Free Zone facility, features 700 photovoltaic (PV) panels. It is projected to produce 650 MWh of electricity annually while cutting approximately 280 tons of CO2 emissions each year. This initiative aligns with Magnum Technology Center’s strategic focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Hamady SY, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation Middle East & Africa, highlighted, “This project reaffirms our dedication to providing efficient solar solutions for B2B customers, empowering them to meet sustainability objectives and reduce carbon footprints.”

Sajeev John, Vice President of WOM Group Middle East, added, “Our collaboration with TotalEnergies for this solar PV system underscores WOM Group’s steadfast commitment to sustainability and a cleaner energy future.”

By combining global expertise with advanced technology, TotalEnergies continues to deliver tailored, high-performance solar solutions that meet the diverse needs of its business partners.
