As Vietnam accelerates its rooftop solar transition through newly proposed incentive policies, VSUN SOLAR has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the country’s clean energy ambitions through local manufacturing, advanced technology, and sustainable operations.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has put forward a new financial support scheme aimed at boosting residential rooftop solar and storage adoption. The proposal includes a mix of cash subsidies and preferential loans to encourage households to install systems for self-consumption. The initiative aims to reduce pressure on the national grid and aligns with Vietnam’s goal of enabling 50% of households and offices to adopt rooftop solar by 2030.

A longstanding photovoltaic manufacturer in Vietnam, VSUN SOLAR says it is fully aligned with the government’s direction. The company leverages its local production capabilities and advanced module technologies to meet rising demand for distributed renewable energy, delivering improved reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance. VSUN serves both domestic and international markets, strengthening Vietnam’s position in the global photovoltaic supply chain.

Vietnam remains a key growth market for VSUN, which continues to supply high-quality modules engineered for the country’s hot, humid climate. VSUN’s latest high-efficiency products—featuring MBB circular ribbon and bifacial cell technology—offer higher energy yield, lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), and stable performance for rooftop and commercial installations. The company’s 645W series stands out in Vietnam’s distributed solar segment, providing an optimal balance of performance and cost competitiveness.

VSUN also maintains strong collaboration with local partners to ensure timely deliveries, localized service, and robust technical support. Backed by long-term warranties and customer care programs, the company aims to provide dependable and high-performing solutions tailored to Vietnamese consumers and businesses.

In addition to manufacturing, VSUN continues to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its Vietnam operations. The company has installed rooftop solar systems on its factories to power production with clean energy, reducing emissions and improving operational efficiency. By employing local workers, partnering with domestic suppliers, and supporting community initiatives—including funding reconstructive surgeries for children with cleft lip and palate in 2024—VSUN reinforces its commitment to Vietnam’s sustainable and inclusive development.
