Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Continuum Green Energy Limited for an EPC project involving a 40 MWhr battery storage system. The project will be set up at wind-solar hybrid sites in Gujarat, with an estimated cost of INR 40 crores.

Viren Doshi, Director of Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited stated, “The said project is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of renewable energy in Gujarat. By integrating these systems, we aim to provide a robust infrastructure that supports the growing demand for sustainable energy. We are pleased to receive this repeat order, which demonstrates our customers’ trust in our ability to deliver and highlights our disciplined approach to achieving results on time and within budget. This partnership supports our commitment to a sustainable future.”

Arvind Bansal, CEO, Continuum Green Energy Limited, mentioned, “This collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating energy storage solutions in our wind-solar hybrid renewable projects for our industrial consumers. We are confident that Waaree Renewable Technologies’, execution excellence and commitment to on-time delivery, will help us achieve our shared vision of a greener tomorrow”.

The battery storage system will use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology with a liquid-cooled, containerized BESS solution. WRTL will execute this as a Lump Sum Turnkey Project, integrating the battery storage with the solar project. This marks a key milestone for WRTL in establishing itself as a full-fledged EPC company.
