Roofsol Energy Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions in India, has successfully commissioned 14 solar projects across 12 states. Together, these projects represent a total installed capacity of over 29 megawatt-peak (MWp) and span more than five different industrial sectors. This milestone highlights Roofsol Energy’s strong commitment to promoting clean energy and reducing the nation’s carbon footprint.

The newly operational projects serve both commercial and industrial clients, showcasing the company’s ability to deliver customized, high-performance solar solutions. These installations are expected to collectively generate more than 45.78 million units (kWh) of renewable electricity annually, reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and contributing to India’s broader renewable energy goals.

Mr. Dipankar Pal, Managing Director of Roofsol Energy, said in a statement, “This 29+ MWp commissioning milestone reflects not only our technical expertise but also our commitment to environmental stewardship and energy access. Executing projects in 12 diverse states each with unique challenges is a testament to the capability and passion of our teams. We are proud to be a partner in India’s renewable energy journey with scalable, future-ready EPC solutions. We are focused on installing RESCO projects in rooftop and behind-the-meter segments all over the country. Our wide scale experience in EPC over the last 10 years, coupled with adequate funding, is helping us aggressively scale our asset base. We expect our OPEX portfolio to cross 200 MWp within this year.”

Beyond energy production, the environmental benefits of these projects are also significant. The clean energy generated is projected to cut down carbon dioxide emissions by over 40,000 metric tons every year. This reduction is equivalent to the environmental impact of planting approximately 1.78 million trees, marking a meaningful step towards sustainability. Roofsol Energy remains focused on delivering technically advanced, cost-efficient, and environmentally responsible solar EPC solutions. With this achievement, the company continues to strengthen its leadership in India’s solar sector and support the country’s transition to a greener energy future.
