LONGi Signs Strategic MOU for Digital O&M Collaboration with ACWA Power’s Wholly-Owned Subsidiary NOMAC

On November 13, LONGi officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Shanghai with NOMAC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi energy giant ACWA Power, for collaboration on GSE Services. The agreement aims to enhance the operational efficiency and asset value of clean energy plants through deep technological synergy and comprehensive cooperation in the digital operation and maintenance of photovoltaic plants. This partnership highlights LONGi’s strength as an end-to-end integrated energy solutions provider.

A Powerful Alliance to Drive Digital Transformation in PV O&M

The signing ceremony was jointly witnessed by Mr. Liu Yuxi, President of the Marketing Center of LONGi Utility, and Mr. Mazhar Saleem, Executive Director of BU Operations at ACWA POWER. During the meeting, both teams engaged in in-depth discussions on future collaboration and joint development efforts. LONGi also introduced the advantages of its Hi-MO 9 product on the project side.

According to the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding, LONGi will offer highly customized solutions tailored to the client’s specific needs. Initially, the collaboration will focus on providing operation and maintenance diagnostics and analysis services for ACWA Power’s photovoltaic plants using the GSE services, aimed at enhancing plant performance and efficiency. In the later stages, LONGi will partner with NOMAC to develop high-quality O&M analysis systems, optimizing plant operations and maximizing asset value.

From End-to-End Solutions to Deep Strategic Collaboration

NOMAC, the First National Operation & Maintenance Company, provides high quality Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for production of electricity and desalinated water worldwide and it is wholly-owned subsidiary of ACWA Power,. Since its establishment in 2005, NOMAC has extended its operational expertise to over ten countries and regions, including the Middle East, North Africa, Southern Africa, Eastern Europe, and Vietnam. The company manages the O&M of over44,000 MW of power plants and  6,226 million cubic meters per day of desalinated water production, continually contributing to the global energy transition.

As a global leader in green energy solutions, LONGi remains committed to a customer-centric approach. Beyond delivering high-efficiency and reliable photovoltaic modules, LONGi focuses on providing comprehensive energy solutions tailored to client needs. In the context of power plant operations, LONGi believes that optimizing the entire lifecycle of a power plant is just as crucial as advancing cell conversion efficiency. To address clients’ pain points in plant operations, LONGi has developed the GSE services, which encompasses intelligent software, consulting services, and EPC equipment to offer full-cycle digital services covering plant development, design, construction, and O&M. By leveraging superior design, products, construction, and operation services, LONGi aims to maximize plant value and drive optimal economic returns for its clients.

The signing of the GSE services MoU is built upon NOMAC’s recognition of LONGi’s high-quality products and solutions, further strengthening the confidence of both parties in future collaborations. This partnership will not only enhance NOMAC’s operational efficiency and asset value but also marks a significant milestone in deepening the strategic relationship between LONGi and ACWA Power. Moving forward, the two companies will continue to explore broader areas of collaboration, jointly accelerating the global transition to renewable energy, fostering industry sustainability, and achieving their shared vision in the green energy sector.
