Tennessee-based industrial gas distributor Holston Gases has acquired Advanced Welding Supply, a local welding supply company based in Alabama.
The purchase gives Holston its ninth location in Alabama and 45th overall. The company’s headquarters are in Knoxville, Tennessee, with additional locations across Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
Tim Myers, owner of Advanced Welding Supply, described the businesses as a great match.
“Combining with Holston’s people and resources will be great for our customers. We’ve known the Holston Gases folks for a long time, and we think a lot of them,” he said.
