Solis Awarded ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security

Solis, renowned as one of the most experienced and largest inverter manufacturers globally, has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System certification by TÜV Süd – a renowned and trusted testing and certification body. The news marks a milestone in Solis’ mission to provide not just world-leading technology, but secure and future-ready digital solutions for its customers.

With smart energy systems becoming more connected, cybersecurity is now a priority for distributors, installers and end-users alike. This certification is internationally recognised as the gold standard for information security and reinforces Solis’ commitment to protecting the people relying on their products and services.

“It’s more than a badge—it’s a commitment.,” said Jimmy Wang, CEO of Solis. “We’re proud to deliver reliable products—but reliability today also means protecting user data, cloud platforms, and connected devices. Earning ISO 27001 shows our partners and customers that we take that responsibility seriously, especially as we continue to expand our energy monitoring services and smart energy control features globally. We want customers to be assured Solis is a brand they can count on.”

This latest milestone builds on Solis’ strong track record of quality and compliance. The company holds a wide range of international certifications, including:

  • UK’s PSTI cybersecurity regulation
  • GDPR-aligned data protection practices within the SolisCloud platform
  • CE, UKCA, and VDE product safety approvals
  • Grid compliance across major global markets
  • IEC 61727 & IEC 62116 – Grid-connection and operation
  • IEC 62109-1 & IEC 62109-2 – Safety standards for PV inverters

The ISO 27001 certification highlights Solis’ dedication to leading on information security, especially critical for SolisCloud, the company’s energy monitoring platform. With new features like AI control and automated energy management being introduced, Solis will ensure these updates are backed by dependable data protection. The company will continue to work closely with regulators, testing bodies, and partners to keep security standards at their highest. The energy landscape is becoming ever more digitised; Solis is making sure that innovation doesn’t come at the expense of customer security.
