Gulf Cryo, headquartered in Dubai, has announced the retirement of Non-Executive Director Mike Huggon and the appointment of Mahmood Hashim Al Kooheji as Executive Director and Chairman.

Huggon, the longest-serving board member at the company, brings down the curtain on a 45-year career in the industrial gases sector in which he worked in more than 30 countries. Al Kooheji takes up the reins at a time of “strategic momentum and continued expansion” for the group.

Huggon said, “Along the way, I have had the privilege of meeting many talented and committed individuals – many of whom became close personal friends.

“Our industry remains a unique one whose contribution to society is consistently underrated. I will continue to watch their progress with both interest and a sense of pride in their continuing achievements.”
