Solar & Storage Expo 2025 – Gujarat Concludes with Resounding Success in Ahmedabad

The Solar & Storage Expo 2025 – Gujarat concluded with remarkable energy and enthusiasm at Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad, cementing its position as one of the state’s most impactful clean energy gatherings. The event brought together Gujarat’s leading voices across the solar and storage spectrum for a day of top-tier networking, innovation showcases, and high-level discussions.

The day began with a warm welcome to our Chief Guest, Mr. Harish Khiya, Senior Project Executive, GEDA, followed by an inspiring opening address by Mr. Vipin Kumar Kasana, Specialist – PV Inverters (C&I and Utility), Sungrow, our presenting partner. Mr. Kasana shared valuable insights into the role of advanced inverter technologies in accelerating India’s solar transition. This was followed by a keynote address by Mr. Ankit Gupta representing the Solar Power Developers Association (SPDA), who offered a compelling overview of Gujarat’s solar market and laid the foundation for thoughtful discourse on policies, investments, and innovation.

The exhibition floor buzzed with the latest advancements in solar and storage technologies, while the carefully curated panel sessions sparked compelling discussions around policy frameworks, regulatory pathways, investment strategies, and technology-driven project development. Attendees gained practical takeaways and future-ready solutions for scaling clean energy in Gujarat.

A standout moment of the day was the Sundowner Gujarat — an exclusive networking evening co-hosted during the Gujarat Energy Excellence Awards. This relaxed yet premium setting, over fine drinks and candid conversations, created unmatched opportunities for deep networking among industry leaders, developers, innovators, and investors.

The evening culminated with the Gujarat Energy Excellence Awards, recognizing outstanding companies and individuals for their pioneering contributions to Gujarat’s renewable energy journey. The awards were presented by our Guest of Honor, Mr. H N Shah, GM – Renewable Energy, GUVNL, who felicitated the winners and commended their efforts in advancing clean energy adoption across the state.
