AWG acquires Suncoast Welding Supplies in Florida

North Carolina-based gas producer and distributor American Welding & Gas (AWG) has acquired Suncoast Welding Supplies, a Florida-based welding equipment and supplies business.

Suncoast Welding Supplies will strengthen AWG’s gases, welding products, and related services offerings in the Southeast region of the US.

James “Jim” Johnson, the son of the original founders of Suncoast Welding Supplies, said the company is proud to pass the torch to AWG.

“I have complete confidence in AWG’s ability to carry forward the legacy we built,” he added. “I’m excited to see how AWG will continue to grow and serve the community with the same passion and care.”
