An interview with CO2Meter

From its base in Florida, CO2Meter provides over 250+ gas sensor solutions that are used in applications across the globe. The company is today a multi-gas safety systems innovator, providing real-time alerts for potential leaks in confined space environments.

It’s a far cry from the humble roots the company was born out of in a small garage in Michigan in 2006. In the space of less than 20 years, but with a combined industry experience of comfortably more than 30 years in its locker, CO2Meter has established itself as a pioneer and leader in reliable gas safety monitoring systems.

A cursory glance at its timeline since 2006 demonstrates this growth, with significant product portfolio expansions, partnerships across industries and with Fortune 500 franchises, acquisitions in the field, ambitious new facilities, and various key certifications bestowed upon the company. In 2025, CO2Meter serves industries as diverse as restaurants, food and beverages, through to welding and gas distribution, cold storage and cryogenics, and the scientific and medical communities.
