JA Solar, a global leader in the solar industry, has teamed up with Huawei, UNESCO, and Thailand’s Ministry of Education to launch a green education project at the Banna District Learning Encouragement Center in Nakhon Nayok Province, Thailand. This initiative aims to provide clean energy solutions and digital education to 11 schools and community centers, preparing the next generation with green skills and digital knowledge.

As part of this project, JA Solar donated its advanced n-type PV modules, DeepBlue 4.0 Pro, to the schools. These high-efficiency solar panels will be installed alongside energy storage systems in several middle schools. The project also includes training teachers and students on the use and management of green energy, helping them understand the practical benefits of clean energy. The DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules, known for their high conversion efficiency and reliability, will ensure a sustainable clean energy supply for the schools.

JA Solar is dedicated to advancing vocational education by helping schools set up specialized training centers for solar PV system installation. Through hands-on courses, students learn essential skills in installing, maintaining, and operating PV systems, preparing them for careers in the growing renewable energy sector. One of the first schools to benefit from this initiative is Kanchanapisek Vocational Training College, where the donated solar PV system is being used as part of the curriculum. Students get practical experience through simulated installation and maintenance tasks, boosting their employability.

At the Banna District Learning Encouragement Center, JA Solar and its partners also installed solar energy storage systems for the community library and learning center. Additionally, a “Digital Bus” was introduced to provide mobile digital education, offering free training on topics like telecommunications, cybercrime awareness, and green energy to local residents and students. These projects are improving energy efficiency and creating valuable learning opportunities for the community. JA Solar and its partners plan to expand this initiative to more schools and communities, aiming to promote both green energy and digital education as key drivers of sustainable development in Thailand and beyond.
