NextBee has announced two major steps forward in its sustainability efforts. First, they introduced “Practice Green”, an innovative employee engagement platform designed to help organizations reduce their environmental impact while cutting costs. This platform uses gamification features, like customizable challenges and rewards, to make sustainability fun and measurable. It also integrates easily with popular HR systems, making it a user-friendly tool for companies. Additionally, NextBee has formed a strategic partnership with Steven Kohn, a consultant with expertise in solar energy, water management, and startups. This collaboration aims to help NextBee grow in the solar power and renewable energy sectors.

NextBee’s new partnership with Steven Kohn boosts its position in the solar power industry and strengthens its approach to aligning internal sustainability efforts with market strategies. Adding Kohn to their consultant network is a key step in expanding NextBee’s reach within the renewable energy sector. With over ten years of experience in solar, water, compost, and energy efficiency, Kohn will help NextBee extend its “Practice Green” platform to commercial and industrial clients in the renewable energy space. His past work with major companies like Jackson Family Wines, Nordstrom, and Pepsi highlights the potential for combining sustainability initiatives with employee engagement programs.

Practice Green offers a range of features designed to help organizations implement and track sustainable practices. These include process adoption checklists, sustainability challenges, and gamification elements such as badges, leaderboards, and reward points. The platform also integrates seamlessly with major HR systems like SuccessFactors, Workday, and Oracle HCM Cloud, providing comprehensive sustainability reporting and analytics. Additionally, it encourages employee-driven innovation through idea submissions and includes volunteer hour tracking and recognition systems.

Available immediately for organizations across all industries, Practice Green is particularly beneficial for technology companies, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, retailers, and financial institutions. Through its strategic partnership with Steven Kohn, NextBee will also offer specialized implementations for solar power companies and renewable energy providers, leveraging Kohn’s expertise in achieving sub-4-year payback periods for solar investments.
