Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Managing Director and CEO HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer met with HE Talal Yousef Fakhro, the newly appointed Consul General of Bahrain in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, during an introductory visit aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation.
Al Tayer welcomed Fakhro and extended his best wishes for the diplomat’s tenure, highlighting the strong and historic ties between the UAE and Bahrain. He emphasised DEWA’s commitment to expanding collaboration and exchanging expertise in key areas including clean and renewable energy, smart grids, innovation, and sustainability—aligned with the shared development priorities of both nations.
He also reaffirmed DEWA’s dedication to maintaining close partnerships with diplomatic and consular missions across the UAE to support joint initiatives and strategic projects.
Fakhro praised DEWA’s global achievements in the energy, water, and sustainability sectors and expressed Bahrain’s interest in strengthening cooperation and building a deeper partnership with DEWA in areas of mutual benefit.
