Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully connected its rooftop distributed photovoltaic (PV) system to the grid at its Mobile Crane Machinery Park, marking the full integration of solar power at its Smart Industrial City. This achievement means that all parks within the city are now powered entirely by green energy, setting a new industry standard for sustainability.

The solar PV system spans four key parks: Concrete, Mobile Crane, Earthmoving Machinery, and Aerial Work Platform, covering 400,000 square meters. With a total capacity of 85 MWp, the system generates 65.6 million kWh annually, saving 21,500 tons of coal and cutting carbon emissions by 65,400 tons each year. This move highlights Zoomlion’s commitment to energy conservation and low-carbon development.

One of the largest rooftop PV installations in the industry, the system not only reduces operating costs but also supports Zoomlion’s goals for high-quality growth. The project allows Zoomlion to earn over 6,500 green certificates annually, enhancing its products’ export potential by aligning with global green standards.

Zoomlion is leading the charge in green development, incorporating sustainability into its core operations. The company continues to focus on green technologies, research, and manufacturing processes, contributing to global sustainability efforts. In 2024, Zoomlion introduced extensive energy-saving measures, achieving a green transformation from production to product delivery. Its Aerial Work Platform line now includes over 90% new energy models to meet market demand.

By using advanced digital and intelligent technologies, Zoomlion is driving sustainability throughout its supply chain and industry, establishing green standards, and promoting circular growth. With its focus on productivity and intelligent manufacturing, Zoomlion is shaping a more sustainable future for the machinery industry.
