Adani Green Energy Commissions 57.2 MW Wind Power Of Its Wind-Solar Hybrid Projects In Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully commissioned a 57.2 MW wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project located at Khavda, Gujarat. This marks a significant milestone for AGEL’s renewable energy portfolio. With the commissioning of this new plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at 11,666.1 MW.

The decision to operationalize the plant was made on January 14, 2025, with power generation officially commencing on January 15, 2025. This addition to AGEL’s renewable energy infrastructure underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its clean energy capacity and contributing to India’s renewable energy goals.

The plant’s successful commissioning adds to the growing number of renewable energy projects being executed by Adani Green Energy, further solidifying its position as a leader in India’s green energy sector.
