Deye Integrated Energy Storage Solution Powering Reliable Off-Grid Applications in India

Ningbo Deye Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2020 as a subsidiary of Deye, is committed to delivering reliable and efficient energy storage solutions worldwide. With a presence in more than 50 countries and supported by overseas service centres, Deye has built a strong reputation in the global renewable energy sector.

In India, Ningbo Deye Inverter Technology began operations in 2018 through branding partners, and the Deye brand was officially launched in 2022. Since then, Deye India has achieved 5GW of installations as of October 2025 and aims to reach 6GW by 2027, reflecting strong market acceptance and growing customer confidence.

Deye’s all-in-one integrated solution is designed to meet the dynamic requirements of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) applications. The system combines energy storage, seamless power transition, and intelligent energy management in a scalable and highly efficient architecture.

A key example of Deye’s expertise is a successfully commissioned off-grid project in Coimbatore, India. The site had no grid connectivity and required a continuous 100kW AC load to support critical operations. A 160kWp solar plant was already installed at the location. To ensure uninterrupted power and optimal solar utilization, Deye deployed a comprehensive off-grid energy storage solution integrating the existing solar plant with a 430kWh lithium battery bank. This configuration enables stable operation of the 100kW load and provides approximately 4 hours of backup at full load. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors voltage, current, and temperature, ensuring safety and performance. The lithium battery system is designed for approximately 6,000 cycles, offering long service life and reduced maintenance.

Key Features of the Integrated Solution:

All-in-One Integration: Combines EMS, PCS, and BMS for seamless and optimized performance.

Scalable Architecture: PCS available in 100kW/125kW configurations, expandable up to 2MW/4.3MWh (on-grid) and 1MW/2.15MWh (off-grid).

Reliable LFP Battery Technology: Robust BOS-B design enhances durability and safety, including aerosol fire extinguishing.

Intelligent Energy Management: Supports peak-valley optimization, load tracking, zero export, and time-of-use charging.

Fast Seamless Switching: STS module enables switching between grid, off-grid, and diesel modes in less than 10ms, ensuring zero blackout.

Diesel Generator Integration: VSG functionality allows smooth integration with existing diesel generators for future expansion.

High PV Compatibility: Wide MPPT range (180–850V), supports up to 200kW PV input with 8 MPPT channels.

High Efficiency: PCS efficiency up to 98.5% and MPPT efficiency above 99%.

Durable Design: IP54 and C5 rated, operating reliably from -20°C to +50°C.

Overload & Unbalanced Load Support: Supports 110% overload and up to 50% rated power on a single phase.

This project highlights Deye’s commitment to delivering intelligent, scalable, and future-ready energy storage solutions that provide reliable, efficient, and sustainable power infrastructure for businesses.
