Huasun Signs Key Partnerships to Expand Heterojunction Reach in Middle East & South Asia at WFES 2025

On January 14, the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2025 commenced in Abu Dhabi, marking Huasun’s first major exhibition of the year. Huasun Energy made a remarkable impression on the global stage, forging significant strategic collaborations with enterprises from the UAE, India, and beyond. These partnerships further strengthen the presence of heterojunction (HJT) technology across the Middle East and South Asia.

Unlocking the Potential of HJT Technology

WFES spans the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, regions renowned for their exceptional solar resources. With annual solar radiation levels ranging from 2,000 to 2,500 kWh/m², these areas present ideal conditions for solar energy projects. However, challenges such as high temperatures, intense UV exposure, and frequent sandstorms create obstacles for solar module performance, structural design, and long-term reliability.

To meet the unique demands of this promising market, Huasun presented its Himalaya G12-132 and Everest G12R-132 0BB HJT modules. Featuring a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C and advanced 0BB (zero-busbar) technology, these modules attracted widespread interest from industry professionals. Additionally, the Kunlun series, optimized for photovoltaic vertical installations and boasting an impressive bifaciality of nearly 100%, became a standout feature at the Huasun booth.

Strengthening Strategic Partnerships
During the event, Huasun secured multiple key agreements, including distribution partnerships with Waltz Solutions and Services, a Middle Eastern provider of telecom energy solutions, and Arkan Solar Energy Consultancy, a specialist in solar system design in carpark PV shield solutions in the Middle East. These collaborations aim to accelerate the adoption of high efficiency HJT technology, supporting the region’s transition to renewable energy.

Huasun also signed a landmark strategic cooperation agreement with India’s leading solar tracking company, NewEnergie Renewable. This partnership focuses on delivering high-performance solar solutions to drive energy transitions and sustainable development across India and neighboring regions.

By partnering with industry leaders, Huasun is expanding HJT applications, integrating green resources, and showcasing its superior power generation capabilities. These collaborations highlight Huasun’s dedication to advancing the Middle East and South Asia’s green energy transition.

Criss Jin, General Manager of Huasun’s Overseas Sales and Marketing Center, noted that the partnerships formed at WFES underscore Huasun’s growing regional influence and the rising acceptance of HJT technology. With over 10 GW of cumulative shipments, Huasun is driving sustainable development and accelerating the green transformation across these regions.
