India to Showcase Renewable Energy Advancements at Republic Day Parade

The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is set to reveal a vibrant tableau at this year’s Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path, New Delhi, celebrating India’s significant progress in the renewable energy sector while honoring the nation’s cultural heritage.

The tableau will prominently feature the ambitious PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which stands as the world’s largest residential rooftop solar initiative. It will also highlight other transformative programs from MNRE that are driving India’s green economy and are projected to create millions of green jobs by 2030.

As part of the display, the tableau will emphasize India’s energy transition under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, showcasing the country’s advancements in green hydrogen technology. Additionally, it will highlight India’s achievement as the fourth-largest installer of wind energy globally.

In a special gesture, 800 guests invited by the MNRE, including beneficiaries of the PM Suryaghar, PM Kusum, and renewable energy technicians, will be among the first to witness the tableau, which encapsulates India’s journey toward a sustainable and self-reliant future.

The MNRE, led by Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi, continues to lead the charge in providing affordable and clean energy to millions of Indian households while boosting domestic manufacturing in the renewable energy sector
