NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has successfully secured 300 MW in an e-reverse auction conducted by NHPC Limited. The auction focused on selecting solar power developers for setting up 1200 MW (1.2 GW) ISTS-connected solar power projects across India, featuring 600 MW/1200 MWh energy storage systems (ESS) under a tariff-based competitive bidding process with a Green Shoe Option.
