PSB Industries, a US-based gas purification technology company, has launched a new solution to remove oxygen and moisture for ultra-high-purity (UHP) hydrogen production.
The company’s Deox-H2 + TSA system has the capacity to handle oxygen concentrations of up to 4% and high moisture levels, reducing both to below one part per million by volume (ppmv), respectively.
It can also work with pressures between 100 psig and 800 psig, and temperatures of around 10°C to 150°C.
The design prevents gas losses and has a multi-layered adsorbent bed, potentially improving the economic and environmental performance of UHP purification for gas companies.
Brian Meyer, Application Sales Manager, PSB Industries, said, “The company wanted to offer a solution that met purity standards but also long-term operational savings and environmental benefits.”
The system is designed to meet growing demand for UHP across the green energy, petrochemical, air separation, and transportation industries.
PSB Industries’ Deox-H2 + TSA system has met US and Canadian industry regulations.
