NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited online bids for the development of an 8.0 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at DRDO Hyderabad. The bidding process will be conducted through a single-stage, two-envelope system on the Government e-Procurement Portal (GePNIC). The project falls under domestic competitive bidding.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power project, as outlined in the bidding documents. NVVN plans to finance the project through external commercial borrowings, domestic commercial borrowings, or its funds.

The tender process does not require any fee for purchasing the documents. Bidders must submit a bid security of ₹50,00,000 (Fifty Lakh Rupees) as per the stipulated conditions in the bidding documents. The bid submission process is entirely online, and no physical copies of documents will be issued.

To participate in the e-tendering process, bidders must possess a Class-3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and must be enrolled on the GePNIC portal. It is recommended that bidders visit the project site before submission to assess the site conditions, as no additional claims will be entertained later.

As per the eligibility criteria, NVVN RE enlisted bidders who meet the financial qualification requirements are eligible to participate. Additionally, any bidder with a Transfer of Technology (ToT) arrangement with an entity from a country sharing a land border with India must be registered with the competent authority.

NVVN reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons. The bidding process will follow the schedule available on the GePNIC portal. The document download and sale end date is 19-Feb-2025, and the bid submission end date is also 19-Feb-2025. The opening date for the price bid will be intimated later.
