There can be no denying the Middle East situation remains volatile, with global trade continuing to be heavily impacted by restrictions on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Israel and Lebanon officially agreed to a 45-day extension last week, but the situation remains tense with Iran. A drawn-out war presents rising challenges for governments and industries.
Alongside the conflict is another battle between perception and reality. The international news cycle moves on, or at least presses a pause in the absence of daily updates. But impressions, be they from social or traditional media, are often already forged.
