Solar-Planit Software GmbH Announces Leadership Transition

Solar-Planit Software GmbH, a subsidiary of BayWa r.e. Solar Trade and a specialist in PV system planning and yield simulation software, has announced a change in management.

Following the departure of former Managing Director Steffen Lindemann at the end of 2024 for personal reasons, Dr. Kathrin Dengler-Roscher has officially assumed the role as of January 1, 2025. In her new position, she will oversee sales, corporate and product strategy, while product development will continue under the leadership of Daniel Gauggel, Head of Product. Additionally, Daniel Deuscher, Head of Operations, will manage infrastructure and finance, with Günter Haug temporarily supporting co-management responsibilities.

Dr. Dengler-Roscher, who joined Solar-Planit Software GmbH in November 2023, has progressively taken on leadership roles within the Electrical & Internal Services Department and strategic planning. Her deep understanding of the company and its systems positions her well to drive the next phase of growth and innovation at Solar-Planit Software GmbH. “I am excited to combine my passion for software development and my commitment to renewable energy in my new position, and to contribute even more to the Solar-Planit team and our tool. Under my leadership, our main focus will be to develop software solutions that provide real value to our users and make their work easier,” said Dr. Dengler-Roscher.
