SJVN Limited has submitted its Annual Report for FY 2025-26 ahead of its proposed 38th Annual General Meeting, outlining the company’s operational performance, project execution progress, financial position, and long-term growth strategy across hydro, solar, wind, and thermal power segments.
The report highlights that SJVN and its associate companies have expanded their operational power generation portfolio to 4,196.50 MW across 15 projects. During the year, the company commissioned the 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project and the 70 MW Dhubri Solar Power Project, while continuing construction and development of several hydroelectric and thermal power projects in India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
SJVN stated that it remains focused on supporting India’s clean energy transition and the country’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. The company is advancing multiple renewable and hydroelectric projects, including the 900 MW Arun-3 Hydroelectric Project in Nepal, the 382 MW Sunni Hydroelectric Project, and the 210 MW Luhri Stage-I Hydroelectric Project.
For the first quarter of FY2026-27, SJVN and its subsidiaries reported a total power generation of 3,625.08 million units (MU). Of this, 2,004.10 MU came from SJVN’s hydro and renewable power stations, 761.57 MU from SJVN Green Energy Limited’s renewable energy assets, and 859.42 MU from SJVN Thermal Private Limited’s thermal power plants.
The company also reported standalone revenue of INR 758.83 crore and a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 246.88 crore for the first quarter of FY2026-27.
Looking ahead, SJVN said it will continue pursuing a balanced funding strategy through internal accruals, government support, and debt financing to execute its expanding project pipeline while maintaining financial discipline and creating long-term value for shareholders.
