Midwest industrial gas and welding distributor CM2 Supply has appointed Jason Kirby as CEO, effective October 1.
Kirby will also continue in his current role as President, supporting the company’s long-term growth and operational performance.
CM2 Supply says the new leadership structure positions the company to continue investing in its customers and future growth opportunities.
During Kirby’s tenure on CM2 Supply’s leadership team, he has supported the organisation through significant growth and transformation, following its launch in , after the March 2025 merger of Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen.
Joe Francis, Chairman of CM2 Supply, said, “He understands our industry, our customers, and our culture, and I am confident he is the right person to lead CM2 Supply into its next chapter of growth.”
Francis will continue in his role as Chairman, playing an active role and advising on long-term strategy, growth initiatives, and acquisitions.
Following the March merger, the companies acquired beverage-grade bulk carbon dioxide (CO2) specialist M&H Gas & Midwest Hydro Testing in April 2025.
In April 2026, CM2 Supply also Minnesota-based industrial gas, medical gas, CO2 tank and welding supplier Toll Gas and Welding.
CM2 Supply has 20 locations across Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri, built on its Central McGowan and Minneapolis Oxygen roots.
