Adani Wind Secures 696.2 MW Turbine Orders From Five Power Producers In India

Adani Wind has secured turbine orders totalling 696.2 MW from five power producers in India, strengthening its presence in the country’s wind energy market. The orders cover projects across Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra, involving different turbine capacities based on project requirements.

Purvah Green Power, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has placed the largest order for 300 MW. The order includes 60 wind turbines, each rated at 5 MW, for installation in Bellary, Karnataka.

Jindal India Power, part of the BC Jindal Group, has ordered 155 MW of wind turbines. The project will use 31 turbines, each with a capacity of 5 MW, at a site in Davanagere, Karnataka.

NTPC Renewable Energy has placed an order for 109.2 MW of wind turbines for its Khavda project in Gujarat. The order comprises 21 turbines, each rated at 5.2 MW, contributing to the development of renewable energy capacity at the project site.

Aditya Birla Renewables has awarded an order for 82.5 MW to Adani Wind. The project will use the company’s 3.3 MW turbine platform and is planned for implementation in Bhuj, Gujarat.

Integrum Energy has also placed an order for 49.5 MW of wind turbines using Adani Wind’s 3.3 MW platform. The project is planned for Nandurbar, Maharashtra.

Together, the five orders represent a total capacity of 696.2 MW, highlighting demand for wind turbines from independent power producers and established energy companies. The projects span multiple locations and turbine ratings, reflecting the diverse requirements of India’s expanding renewable energy sector. The orders also strengthen Adani Wind’s position as a turbine supplier supporting wind power development across the country.
