AMPYR Distributed Energy Sponsors Energy Technology Live 2024, Showcasing Innovations in Distributed Energy and Battery Storage

AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), the leading investor in onsite sustainable energy solutions, has been announced as a sponsor of this year’s Energy Technology Live exhibition. Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham between 12-13 March, the event brings together two exhibitions – the Distributed Energy Show and the Energy Storage Show – to accelerate the adoption of decentralised energy generation.

As a sponsor of the exhibition, AMPYR Distributed Energy will also participate in key discussions at the Distributed Energy Show. On March 13, Chief Commercial Officer Miles Thomas will deliver a keynote on the evolving role of battery storage in commercial energy. He will explore behind-the-meter generation, address funding misconceptions, and highlight the technology’s future potential.

Senior Investment Director Ben Cameron will also join thought leaders from across the renewable energy supply chain for a panel discussion titled ‘Financing the future: unlocking asset capital for net zero goals.’ As part of the session, Cameron will discuss the importance of funding in enabling corporate sustainability initiatives, as well as explaining the different green finance options available to UK businesses.

John Behan, CEO of AMPYR Distributed Energy, emphasized the significance of Energy Technology Live as a key industry event. He highlighted ADE’s commitment to advancing distributed energy solutions and accelerating decentralization. With £300m in capital, ADE aims to simplify onsite renewable adoption with no upfront costs, engaging attendees on funding innovations and opportunities in clean energy.

AMPYR Distributed Energy funds, builds, owns and operates renewable energy technologies that help businesses to reduce energy costs and decarbonise their operations. With the backing of AGP Sustainable Real Assets, we deliver onsite green energy solutions with no upfront costs through innovative power purchase agreements (PPAs).
