Nippon Sanso Holdings earns CDP ‘A List’ recognition for climate efforts

Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation has made the CDP Climate Change ‘A List’ for the first time, receiving the highest rating for its environmental initiatives. It also received an A-minus score for water security.

CDP, a global benchmark for corporate environmental disclosure, assesses companies on climate action, water security, and deforestation, rating them from A to D-minus. Sustainability is a core focus of Nippon Sanso Holdings’ medium-term management plan, NS Vision 2026, under which it has advanced several environmental initiatives.

“We have been continuously advancing our sustainability initiatives,” the company stated. “We have set sustainability management as one of the five focused fields.” It reports progress through reports and through its website.

Nippon Sanso Holdings is the world’s fourth-largest supplier of industrial, electronic, and medical gases, operating across Japan, the US, Europe, and Asia & Oceania.
