Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, has invited an e-tender for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 125KWp on-grid solar inverter at the Jharsuguda Bottling Plant in Odisha. The tender follows a two-bid system, consisting of a technical bid with commercial terms and a price bid. Interested bidders can download the tender documents from the e-tendering portal. Any updates, addendums, or extensions related to this tender will also be posted on the portal.

The estimated value of the work is ₹4,61,316.48, excluding GST, and ₹5,44,353.00, including GST at 18%. No tender fee is required to participate. Additionally, there is no Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for this tender. However, bidders must submit a Bid Security Declaration in the prescribed format. Failure to upload this declaration before the deadline will result in bid rejection. The bid submission end date is 8th March 2025.

The successful bidder must submit a Performance Security Deposit, which is 10% of the total contract value, excluding GST. The security deposit must be submitted within 15 days of receiving the Letter of Acceptance. This deposit can be paid in parts, with an initial 2.5% through electronic modes or bank guarantees. The remaining amount will be deducted from subsequent bills until the total security deposit is recovered. The deposit will be refunded after 12 months from the completion of work, provided there are no defects.

The validity period for this tender is 120 days from the opening date of the technical bid. The completion timeline for the entire project is three months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Intent. The tender submission and opening dates are available on the e-tendering portal.

IOCL has specified that purchase preference does not apply to this tender. The company has also outlined strict evaluation criteria, including compliance with bid submission requirements and technical qualifications. Any bidder failing to meet the specified conditions, such as non-submission of the Bid Security Declaration or deviation from bid conditions, will face rejection.

Bidders are advised to ensure compliance with all technical and commercial requirements. The contact persons for any queries related to the tender are Amit Kumar Tripathy, DGM (Plant), and Rahul Dewangan, Manager (LPG-Safety), both from Jharsuguda Bottling Plant.
