Ashok Ramachandran Resigns from Board and Key Roles at JSW Energy Ltd

JSW Energy Ltd has announced that Mr. Ashok Ramachandran will step down from his roles as Director, Whole-time Director, and Key Managerial Personnel of the company, effective from the close of business hours on April 8, 2025. The resignation has been submitted due to personal reasons, according to an official communication from the company.

The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, read with Schedule III, Part A, Clause 7. The company further confirmed that a formal search process is already underway to identify a suitable candidate to fill the vacated roles, and necessary disclosures regarding the appointment will be made in due course.

Mr. Ramachandran’s exit marks a key change in the leadership at JSW Energy Ltd, which has seen steady progress under his tenure. His contributions have been acknowledged by the board, which also expressed appreciation for his service and commitment.

This leadership transition comes at a time when JSW Energy continues to pursue its long-term growth strategies in the energy sector. Stakeholders and market watchers will now be looking forward to the announcement of his successor as part of the company’s continued focus on governance and operational continuity.
