Adani Energy Solutions Closes FY25 with ₹24,447 Cr Revenue & 103% PAT Growth

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), India’s largest private sector power transmission and distribution company, announced stellar financial and operational results for Q4 and the full fiscal year FY25, marking its most successful year yet.

The company recorded a remarkable 103% year-on-year (YoY) surge in Profit After Tax (PAT) to ₹2,427 crore, excluding a one-time exceptional item. Q4 PAT stood at ₹714 crore, up 87% from the previous year. AESL’s total income rose to ₹24,447 crore, up 42% YoY, driven by robust contributions from newly commissioned transmission assets, growing distribution demand in Mumbai and Mundra, and smart metering gains.

EBITDA for FY25 climbed 23% to ₹7,746 crore, bolstered by strong performance in the transmission and distribution segments. Notably, the transmission business sustained an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92%. Operational revenue grew by 20% to ₹17,057 crore.

The company added seven major transmission projects in FY25, raising its total order book to ₹59,936 crore. It also installed 31.3 lakh smart meters, with a roadmap to reach 1 crore by FY26. AESL’s capex doubled to ₹11,444 crore, supporting its aggressive growth and infrastructure expansion.

On the sustainability front, AESL divested its Dahanu thermal plant and increased Mumbai’s renewable energy mix to 36%, aiming for 60% by FY27. The company also joined UNEZA, a global alliance for clean energy infrastructure.

Recognized for operational excellence and ESG leadership, AESL retained its top utility ranking in the DISCOM ratings and received multiple accolades, including the Brandon Hall Gold Award for HR excellence.

CEO Kandarp Patel emphasized AESL’s commitment to expanding infrastructure and delivering sustainable growth, positioning the company for continued leadership in India’s evolving energy landscape.
