Air Liquide has been awarded a five-year contract by local government body the Community of Madrid to provide home-based respiratory care for around 70,000 patients.
The French industrial gases major will deliver medical oxygen and equipment alongside support services including remote monitoring, teleconsultations, patient education, and psychological care.
“This new contract with the Community of Madrid illustrates our ability to innovate and deliver healthcare services tailored to the needs of patients at home,” said Air Liquide in a statement.
“In addition to the human support of our teams, the integration of advanced technologies, such as predictive algorithms, telemonitoring, and artificial intelligence demonstrates an innovative approach aimed at improving patients’ quality of life and generating a positive impact on the healthcare system.”
